Lap 388 - 12:47:45 (12:57 AM) - The No. 23 Porsche moves up to third place, passing the No. 39 Lexus. The No. 59 Porsche returns to the track with Haywood at the wheel. The No. 05 BMW pits and Alhadeff gets in.

Lap 389 - 12:50:30 (1:00 AM) - The No. 06 Corvette goes behind the wall.

Lap 390 - 12:51:21 (1:01 AM) - The No. 16 Pontiac pits and Dyson gets in. The No. 81 Porsche pits and McCracken gets in. The No. 23 Porsche qualified first, holds the fastest lap and has consistently been faster than the other cars on the track.

Lap 391 - 12:54:30 (1:04 AM) - OVERALL LEAD CHANGE - The No. 01 Lexus passes the No. 02 Lexus just beyond the start finish line to take the lead. The No. 02 Lexus has led a total of 85 laps thus far.

Lap 398 - 13:05:43 (1:16 AM) - The No. 89 Pontiac is returning to the track with Dalziel at the wheel. The No. 06 Corvette is returning to the garage. The No. 28 Ford is going behind the wall. The No. 81 Porsche has pulled behind the wall at Turn 5 and is returning to the paddock. The No. 11 BMW has lost its deck lid and blown its tire at NASCAR Turn 2 and is going behind the wall.

Lap 399 - 13:09:09 (1:19 AM) - The No. 68 Porsche pits and Revere gets in. Officials report that the No. 11 BMW and No. 81 Porsche made contact causing the damage to the No. 11 BMW.

Lap 400 - 13:10:58 (1:21 AM) - The No. 66 Porsche returns to the track. The No. 16 Pontiac stops momentarily on the infield before restarting the car and continuing on.

Lap 402 - 13:12:58 (1:23 AM) - The No. 64 Pontiac pits and Pilgrim gets in. The No. 75 Pontiac pits and Jonsson gets in. The No. 4 BMW goes behind the wall. The No. 06 Corvette returns to the track.

Lap 403 - 13:15:24 (1:25 AM) - OVERALL LEAD CHANGE - The No. 02 Lexus reclaims the lead from the No. 01 Lexus. The No. 46 Corvette pits and Baughman gets in.
