road and re-joins the field after crew members repaired the damage
from the earlier incident.
Medical Update: Jacob Shalit was examined and released from the
infield care center at Daytona International Speedway following
his incident in the No. 24 BMW with the No. 10 Pontiac. The No.
8 Porsche pits and Brian Frisselle gets in.
Lap 149 - 5:02:53 (5:13 PM) - Race control reports smoke and fluid
leaking from the No. 83 Porsche.
