1:25 PM - The cars roll off the grid for the Rolex 24 At Daytona, with heavy smoke trailing from the Porsche of No. 41 MICHAELIAN. No. 41 MICHAELIAN comes down pit road.

1:30 PM - GREEN FLAG waves to begin the 45th Rolex 24 At Daytona with No. 99 GURNEY leading the field in Turn 1.

1:30 PM - GREEN FLAG waves on the GT field, with No. 72 HENZLER leading the field in Turn 1.

Lap 1 - 1:48 (1:32 PM) - No. 86 PRICE spins and makes contact with the barrier in Turn 4. The machine continues to the garage, but leaks heavy fluid.

Lap 3 - 3:52 (1:34 PM) - Corner workers report fluid leaking from No. 47 BERNHARD.

Lap 4 - 7:00 (1:37 PM) - OVERALL LEAD CHANGE: No. 10 ANGELELLI and No. 91 GOOSSENS pass No. 99 GURNEY in Turn 1. No. 10 ANGELELLI now leads.

Lap 8:32 - (1:38 PM) - No. 22 GABEL slides off-course in Turn 1 but continues.

Lap 6 - 9:46 (1:40 PM) - In NASCAR Turn 4, the hood flips up on the car of No. 42 AURIEMMA, blocking the driver's view. AURIEMMA makes contact with the outside wall and clips polesitter No. 99 GURNEY. The No. 99 has a flat right front tire and a damaged nose and is slow on course.

Lap 7 - 12:10 (1:42 PM) - No. 99 GURNEY limps the machine down pit road as the crew works on the damaged bodywork.

Lap 8 - 14:07 (1:44 PM) - No. 47 BERNHARD comes down pit road with an oil leak in the transmission. The crew makes repairs and BERNHARD heads back out. No. 97 RICE comes down pit road. No. 99 GURNEY heads back on course.

Lap 12 - 19:53 (1:50 PM) - No. 10 ANGELELLI and No. 91 GOOSSENS are nose-to-tail for the lead through Turns 1 and 2 as lapped traffic slows the leaders.

Lap 13 - 21:47 (1:52 PM) - No. 48 DeFONTES has a flat front-left tire and limps the Corvette to pit road.

Lap 14 - 23:31 (1:53 PM) - No. 99 GURNEY comes back down pit road while the crew takes off the engine cover.

Lap 16 - 28:19 (1:58 PM) - No. 24 MONTGOMERY slides off-course in Turn 1 and is stopped.

Lap 18 - 31:44 (2:02 PM) - No. 24 MONTGOMERY limps the machine around the circuit and heads down pit road.

Lap 23 - 44:00 (2:14 PM) - No. 57 CICERO comes down pit road for service.

Lap 28 - 49:46 (2:20 PM) - Corner workers report more fluid leaking from No. 47 BERNHARD.

Lap 30 - 52:35 (2:22 PM) - No. 69 PLUMB, No. 00 SCHECKTER and No. 84 DALLENBACH all make initial pit stops as does No. 51 CHEEVER (ERDOS in).

Lap 31 - 53:36 (2:24 PM) - No. 20 WALLACE, No. 70 TREMBLAY and No. 72 LIDDELL make stops.

Lap 32 - 55:13 (2:25 PM) - No. 23 LONG reports losing power and is coming down pit road. No. 39 FITTIPALDI pits, as does No. 7 ENGE. No. 6 ALLMENDINGER makes his initial pit stop. GT polesitter No. 81 HUISMAN pits.

Lap 33 - 56:55 (2:27 PM) - No. 12 LESTER, No. 58 DONOHUE, No. 18, No. 75 KROHN, No. 59 HAYWOOD and GT leader No. 74 HENZLER pits. No. 02 DIXON makes his initial stop.
