1:50 p.m. - Currently leading the GT charts is No. 70 RAPHAEL MATOS, ahead of No. 88 FRANK STIPPLER and No. 69 NICK LONGHI.

1:52 p.m. - No. 89 GIACOMO PETROBELLI's PORSCHE GT3 has a tire down and is scrapping its body pieces across the track.

1:53 p.m. - BLACK FLAG all as No. 75 TRACY KROHN is in the tire wall in the chicane. The car has suffered extensive front end and floor damage and the team is unaware if it will make it back out for qualifying.

1:58 p.m. - GREEN FLAG displayed to resume action.

2:07 p.m. - No. 60 OSWALDO NEGRI leads the session with a day best of 1:42.072, nearly a second-and-a-half quicker than the Daytona Prototype track record. Trailing are No. 10 MAX ANGELELLI, over six tenths of a second behind, No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT, No. 58 DARREN LAW and No. 02 SCOTT DIXON.

2:24 p.m. - No. 70 SYLVAIN TREMBLAY'S MAZDA RX-8 runs tops in GT at 1:52.119. Behind him are No. 86 LEH KEEN, No. 62 JACK BALDWIN, No. 57 ROBIN LIDDELL and No. 88 ERIC CURRAN.

2:30 p.m. - CHECKERED FLAG falls to end the session. No. 10 MAX ANGELELLI ends the session with a flyer at 1:41.800, the only sub 1:42.000 lap of the first two sessions. Behind are No. 60 OSWALDO NEGRI, No. 61 MARK WILKINS, No. 02 SCOTT DIXON and No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT. The No. 34 ORBIT RACING machine was fastest in GT at 1:51.972.
