IAN JAMES. No. 02 SCOTT PRUETT is second, followed by No. 9 RYAN BRISCOE,
No. 59 HURLEY HAYWOOD and No. 6 IAN JAMES.
LAP 265 (08:55:46) – FULL COURSE CAUTION as No. 61 BRIAN FRISSELLE
is in the tire wall at Turn 3.
LAP 266 (08:57:34) – Nos. 9, 7, 77, 3, 58 and 59 all pit. The top
five are No. 58 DAVID DONOHUE, No. 6 IAN JAMES, No. 99 JON FOGARTY, No.
9 RYAN BRISCOE and No. 91 JIM MATTHEWS.

66, 64, 44, 86, 07, 81, 30, 06, 70, 69 and 57 all pit. No. 86 JORG BERGMEISTER
hits No. 87 DOMINIK FARNBACHER’s tire on pit road. Officials are
discussing what to do.
LAP 268 (09:04:47) – No. 86 JORG BERGMEISTER will need to serve
a stop-and-go plus-60 second penalty for hitting that tire. Nos. 09, 31,
61, 10, 58 and 75 pit. OVERALL LEAD CHANGE as No. 58 DAVID DONOHUE pits,
handing the lead to No. 6 IAN JAMES. Trailing are No. 99 JON FOGARTY,
No. 9 RYAN BRISCOE, No. 91 JIM MATTHEWS and No. 59 JOAO BARBOSA. Seven
cars remain on the lead lap.
LAP 270 (09:11:30) – GREEN FLAG flies to resume action. No. 6 IAN
JAMES and No. 99 JON FOGARTY battle on the banking, with No. 6 IAN JAMES
holding the position. No. 61 BRIAN FRISSELLE is assessed a penalty for
jumping the start.
LAP 271 (09:13:18) – There is a light rain on the main straightaway.
No. 61 BRIAN FRISSELLE serves his penalty. No. 91 JIM MATTHEWS also serves
a penalty for cutting the course and improving his position. No. 81 ROBERT
DOORNBOS runs into a car and is talking to his team about the damage.
No. 72 MAX PAPIS serves a penalty for pitting out of sequence. No. 86
JORG BERGMEISTER remains the GT leader but will still need to serve an
aforementioned penalty. FULL COURSE CAUTION as No. 09 MICHAEL MCDOWELL
stops on the track. He is eventually towed in.

MEMO GIDLEY splits off and heads back to the garage. OVERALL LEAD CHANGE
as No. 99 JON FOGARTY overtakes No. 6 IAN JAMES in the International Horseshoe.
He quickly pulls to a very sizeable advantage, and ends the lap up 4.333
seconds.
LAP 277 (09:30:53) – No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT takes third from No. 9
RYAN BRISCOE.
LAP 278 (09:32:51) – GT LEAD CHANGE as No. 86 JORG BERGMEISTER
serves his stop-and-go plus-60 second penalty for hitting a teammate’s
tire. No. 70 DAVID HASKELL assumes the top role.
LAP 279 (09:34:40) – No. 99 JON FOGARTY has put over nine seconds
between himself and No. 6 IAN JAMES.
LAP 280 (09:36:30) – The lead is now 10.086 seconds. No. 58 DAVID
DONOHUE has entered the pits.
LAP 281 (09:38:16) – No. 23 ANDY WALLACE has lost another fan belt.
There are only six cars on the lead lap at this point.
LAP 285 (09:45:22) – No. 31 MIRO KONOPKA is not meeting minimum
speed. No. 81 goes behind the wall.
