No. 91 JOHNNY O'CONNELL pits (RYAN HUNTER-REAY in). Tower reports that No. 70 SYLVAIN TREMBLAY has no tail lights and one working brake light, and must enter the pits within a few laps if the problem persists. No. 60 GRAHAM RAHAL pits, No. 74 JOE SAFINA pits. No. 3 TED CHRISTOPHER has made contact with the wall in the chicane and has shredded a tire. The No. 3 comes around slowly and pits.

LAP 374 (12:38:30) - OVERALL LEAD CHANGE - No. 01 JUAN PABLO MONTOYA retakes the lead as No. 6 BURT FRISSELLE pits. No. 3 TED CHRISTOPHER returns to the field. Top five overall: No. 01 JUAN PABLO MONTOYA, No. 99 ALEX GURNEY, No. 6 BURT FRISSELLE, No. 91 RYAN HUNTER-REAY, No. 9 KURT BUSCH. LAP 375 (12:40:00) - No. 3 TED CHRISTOPHER returns to the pits and goes behind the wall.

LAP 378 (12:45:30) - No. 70 SYLVAIN TREMBLAY quickly pits to repair the tail light problem and leaves this time with working lights. No. 66 ANDY LALLY takes second position from No. 70 SYLVAIN TREMBLAY. No. 60 GRAHAM RAHAL returns to the pits.

UPDATE: No. 07 PAUL EDWARDS said he was in a pack of four cars going into Turn One. One of the Krohn DP's was parked backwards at the exit of Turn 2. Edwards said he didn't see it; he saw the two Porsches split and each go outside, and a Ganassi car stopped to avoid hitting it and Edwards drove straight into the Ganassi car. No. 07 is in the garage repairing all of the front end and suspension damage. Edwards is OK. The driver going in will be KELLY COLLINS.

LAP 383 (12:54:40) - No. 07 KELLY COLLINS returns to pit lane.

LAP 384 (12:57:38) - No. 07 KELLY COLLINS returns to the field. No. 74 JOE SAFINA is called in for a drive-thru penalty for blowing the chicane.

UPDATE: No. 72 CRAIG STANTON clipped the pit wall coming in for a pit stop. TIM LEWIS got in and the car was ill-handling so he came into the garage. The crew is working on the alignment. No. 89 GIACOMO PETROBELLI lost his left front tire which caused him to crash. There was severe damage to the left front and front of the car. The car has retired.

LAP 387 (13:02:04) - No. 74 JOE SAFINA serves his drive-thru penalty.

LAP 388 (13:04:00) - No. 99 ALEX GURNEY enters the pits, giving the controls over to JIMMIE JOHNSON. JOHNSON returns to the field a lap down in fourth position. No. 3 TED CHRISTOPHER returns to the field. No. 61 COLIN BRAUN goes behind the wall.

LAP 392 (13:09:45) - No. 10 MAX ANGELELLI pits for fuel and tires. No. 23 JOEY HAND pits (BILL AUBERLEN in).

LAP 395 (13:16:15) - OVERALL LEAD CHANGE - No. 01 JUAN PABLO MONTOYA pits giving control of the car over to DARIO FRANCHITTI and the lead to No. 6 BURT FRISSELLE.
