LAP 440 (15:06:44) - GREEN FLAG waves to continue the session. No. 6 AJ ALLMENDINGER retains the lead. No. 99 JON FOGARTY takes third position from No. 91 MARC GOOSSENS. No. 6 AJ ALLMENDINGER and No. 59 TERRY BORCHELLER were the only two prototypes to turn take-off laps in under two minutes.

LAP 442 (15:11:00) - No. 91 MARC GOOSSENS retakes third position from No. 99 JON FOGARTY. No. 3 ALEX BARRON goes back behind the wall.

LAP 444 (15:13:50) - No. 99 JON FOGARTY has no lights on; officials request that he turn them on.

LAP 446 (15:18:50) - No. 99 JON FOGARTY is only a few car lengths in front of race-leading No. 6 AJ ALLMENDINGER. Corner workers reports that the No. 99 GAINSCO machine took the motorcycle turn in the east horseshoe. Officials request an explanation, JON FOGARTY says his brakes locked up and sent him through the grass.

LAP 447 (15:22:15) - No. 6 AJ ALLMENDINGER laps No. 99 JON FOGARTY in the breaking area heading into the chicane.

LAP 450 (15:24:45) - There are reports of debris on the front straightaway. No. 3 TED CHRISTOPHER has reentered the race.

LAP 451 (15:26:43) - No. 6 AJ ALLMENDINGER leads No. 01 DARIO FRANCHITTI by 16.842 seconds. No. 91 MARC GOOSSENS remains the only other car on the lead lap. No.

LAP 452 (15:28:40) - No. 70 NICK HAM remains the top in GT, with No. 66 RICHARD WESTBROOK trailing by only 4.053 seconds. Light rain continues to fall around the track. OVERALL LEAD CHANGE as No. 01 DARIO FRANCHITTI inherits the lead when No. 6 AJ ALLMENDINGER pits. He returns to the track.

LAP 453 (15:30:57) - The lead grows to over 45 seconds for new leader No. 01 DARIO FRANCHITTI. The top five in Daytona Prototypes are No. 01 DARIO FRANCHITTI, No. 6 AJ ALLMENDINGER, No. 91 MARC GOOSSENS, No. 99 JON FOGARTY and No. 59 TERRY BORCHELLER.

LAP 455 (15:34:55) - No. 14 ANTHONY LAZZARO says he is having a hard time controlling the PORSCHE GT3.

No. 9 HELIO CASTRONEVES reports he has hit debris in Turn 1 and will bring the car into change tires. UPDATE - No. 21 SPENCER TRENERY brought the car into the garage to repair a broken drive line. He said it had been tough driving out there because the windshield wiper didn't work and he couldn't see the corners. The crew made him a do-it-yourself window defroster to use on the inside. When the car is repaired, DIEGO ALESI will be driving.

LAP 461 (15:47:29) - No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT takes second from No. 91 MARC GOOSSENS when he pits. Five cars are now on the lead lap. No. 91 MARC GOOSSENS moves into fourth and No. 23 PATRICK LONG fifth ahead of No. 59 TERRY BORCHELLER, who pits.

LAP 464 (15:53:19) - No. 99 JON FOGARTY passes No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT for second. The No. 26 PORSCHE GT3 goes to the garage with transmission problems.
