LAP 489 (16:48:34) - No. 61 ANDREW RANGER suffers a flat right rear and pulls off the course. The car suffers extensive bodywork damage to the right rear.

LAP 491 (16:52:29) - No. 87 DOMINIK FARNBACHER spins but continues on.

LAP 492 (16:54:24) - No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT's lead has been slashed to only 2.654 seconds over No. 6 IAN JAMES. GT LEAD CHANGE as No. 66 RICHARD WESTBROOK retakes the point from No. 70 DAVID HASKELL.

UPDATE - The No. 86 PORSCHE GT3 went behind the wall with clutch problems.

LAP 493 (16:56:19) - The lead widens the gap to a little over three seconds.

LAP 494 (16:58:14) - No. 03 ANTHONY FOYT brings the PORSCHE CRAWFORD into the pits for service.

LAP 495 (17:00:10) - The gap lies only at 0.799 seconds for leader No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT.

LAP 496 (17:02:05) - OVERALL LEAD CHANGE as No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT pits, giving the lead to No. 6 IAN JAMES. Also moving up in the running order are No. 23 PATRICK LONG, No. 99 JON FOGARTY and No. 91 MARC GOOSSENS. FULL COURSE CAUTION for debris in a couple areas around the track.

LAP 497 (17:04:04) - The Daytona Prototype are all welcomed to pit. Among those pitting are Nos. 01, 23, 10, 75, 76, 09 and 91. OVERALL LEAD CHANGE as No. 99 JON FOGARTY takes the point when No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT pits. ANDY WALLACE gets in the No. 23 and JOHNNY OCONNELL gets in No. 91.

LAP 498 (17:08:07) - Pits are open for GT cars. Among those pitting are the 29, 84, 65, 88, 21, 43 and leaders Nos. 66 RICHARD WESTBROOK and 70 DAVID HASKELL. No. 66 RICHARD WESTBROOK beats No. 70 RAPHAEL MATOS out of the pits to maintain the lead. OVERALL LEAD CHANGE as No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT and No. 6 IAN JAMES take first and second.

LAP 499 (17:12:19) - No. 60 OSWALDO NEGRI pits and MARK PATTERSON gets into the car.

LAP 500 (17:15:31) - The top five in GT are No. 66 BRYCE MILLER, No. 70 RAPHAEL MATOS, No. 67 EMANUEL COLLARD, No. 57 GUNNAR JEANETTE and No. 64 JOHANNES VAN OVERBEE. No. 91 JOHHNY OCONNELL and No. 59 HURLEY HAYWOOD move to fourth and fifth.

LAP 502 (17:19:03) GREEN FLAG flies. No. 61 FORD RILEY retires with extensive body damage. No. 59 HURLEY HAYWOOD is moving on its own on the grass. No. 99 JON FOGARTY moves to second place behind No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT. No. 23 ANDY WALLACE moves to fifth. Six cars are on the lead lap. No. 6 BRYCE MILLLER leads No. 70 RAPHAEL MATOS and No. 67 EMMANUEL COLLARD in GT.

LAP 504 (17:26:11) No. 10 MICHAEL VALIANTE spins in Turn 5 after contact with No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT. The top five in Daytona Prototype are Nos. 01 SCOTT PRUETT, 99 JON FOGARTY, 6 IAN JAMES, 91 JOHNNY OCONNELL and 23 ANDY WALLACE.

LAP 506 (17:29:44) - The lead is down to 0.938 seconds for No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT over No. 99 JON FOGARTY.

UPDATE - GT LEAD CHANGE as No. 70 RAPHAEL MATOS takes the point from No. 66 BRYCE MILLER. However, No. 70 RAPHAEL MATOS must serve an outstanding penalty. He is running 14th overall.

LAP 507 (17:31:35) - The lead grows to 1.544 seconds for No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT.

LAP 508 (17:33:21) - Four different engine manufacturers represent the top five in Daytona Prototypes and three different in the GT class, with Porsche holding three of the five in GT.
