LAP 509 (17:35:09) - No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT's lead now sits at 0.594 seconds.

UPDATES - The No. 09 PORSCHE FABCAR is in the garage to repair radio problems. The No. 21 PONTIAC GTO returned to the track after repairing drive line problems, and quickly returned to the garage to further work and weld on the same problem.

LAP 510 (17:36:56) - The lead is now 1.329 seconds for No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT.

LAP 511 (17:38:43) - No. 43 JOE SAHLEN spins in international horseshoe but continues. The top three are separated by only 7.761 seconds.

UPDATE No. 67 EMMANUEL COLLARD runs second in GT.

LAP 512 (17:40:30) - The gap is now 0.961 seconds for No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT. No. 21 PONTIAN GTO goes behind the wall.

LAP 514 (17:44:05) - No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT and No. 99 JON FOGARTY are separated by mere car length as they work through traffic.

LAP 515 (17:45:50) - Spin in international horseshoe involving No. 02 SALVADOR DURAN and No. 57 GUNNAR JEANNETTE, who was running fourth in GT. Both cars continue on but pull off at separate exit points. No 91 JOHNNEY OCONNELL moves up to third.

LAP 516 (17:47:39) - FULL COURSE CAUTION for No. 02 SALVADOR DURANS stopped car in Turn 5. There is also debris at the exit of Turn 4.

UPDATE No. 70 RAPHAEL MATOS is one lap ahead of second and third place in GT.

LAP 517 (17:49:47) - Daytona Prototypes which are pitting include Nos. 91, 9, 09, 77, 23, 10, 75, 76, 6, 60 and 59. No. 99 JIMMY VASSER now in the car. The top five in Daytona Prototype are No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT, No. 99 JIMMY VASSER, No. 6 IAN JAMES, No. 59 JOAO BARBOSA, who replaces HURLEY HAYWOOD, and No. 23 JOEY HAND, who replaces ANDY WALLACE.

LAP 518 (17:52:34) - Much of the GT field pits, including Nos. 87, 62, 85, 67, 06, 72, 74, 86, 66, 29, 14, 17, 88 and 07.

LAP 521 (17:59:44) - GREEN FLAG to resume action. No. 52 FRED MACHADO spins but continues. No. 84 CHRIS BINGHAM jumped the start and is assessed a stop and go penalty. No. 6 IAN JAMES takes second from No. 99 JIMMY VASSER.

LAP 522 (18:04:49) - No. 84 CHRIS BINGHAM serves his stop-and-go penalty. No. 23 JOEY HAND passes No. 99 JIMMY VASSER for third.

LAP 524 (18:08:17) - No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT leads No. 6 IAN JAMES by 17.196 seconds. No. 67 ROMAIN DUMAS takes the lead from No. 66 ANDY LALLY in GT. No. 59 YOAO BARBOSA takes fourth from No. 99 JIMMY VASSER.
