LAP 66 (02:14:48) - GREEN FLAG flies and the race is back underway. No. 77 FORD returns to the track. No. 06 ROBERT NEARN assessed a stop-and-go penalty for jumping the start. The top five are No. 02 SCOTT DIXON, No. 61 BRIAN FRISSELLE, No. 23 PATRICK LONG, No. 76 RICARDO ZONTA and No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT.

LAP 67 (02:16:34) - GT LEAD CHANGE as No. 67 EMMANUEL COLLARD takes the lead from No. 70 NICK HAM. The rest of the top five are No. 86 JORG BERGMEISTER, No. 64 JIM PACE and No. 07 KELLY COLLINS.

LAP 69 (02:20:01) - No. 88 DAVE LACEY spun in Turn 1.

LAP 70 (02:21:44) - No. 03 ED CARPENTER pulls the Pontiac Crawford onto pit lane but the car is pushed back behind the wall. No. 01 SCOTT PRUETT pits from fourth place and JUAN PABLO MONTOYA gets into the car.

LAP 71 (02:23:27) - The top five in Daytona Prototypes are No. 02 SCOTT DIXON, No. 61 BRIAN FRISSELLE, No. 23 PATRICK LONG, No. 76 RICARDO ZONTA and No. 99 ALEX GURNEY.

LAP 72 (02:25:10) - The lead for No. 02 SCOTT DIXON is 2.839 seconds.

LAP 73 (02:26:57) - No. 12 JUSTIN BELL takes his Pontiac Riley behind the wall.

LAP 74 (02:28:40) - The top five in GT are No. 70 NICK HAM, No. 67 EMMANUEL COLLARD, No. 86 JORG BERGMEISTER, No. 64 JIM PACE and No. 07 KELLY COLLINS.

NOTE: The No. 65 PORSCHE GT3 had problems with a radiator and the No. 63 PORSCHE GT3 was struggling with its gearbox.

LAP 86 (02:49:26) - No. 99 ALEX GURNEY pits and JIMMIE JOHNSON gets in.

LAP 87 (02:51:22) - OVERALL LEAD CHANGE as No. 02 SCOTT DIXON pits and No. 61 BRIAN FRISSELLE leads the race. DAN WHELDON gets into the No. 02. No. 7 STEPHAN GREGOIRE. GT LEAD CHANGE as No. 70 NICK HAM pits and No. 86 JORG BERGMEISTER takes the point.
