LAP 122 (03:53:27) – OVERALL LEAD CHANGE as No. 76 RICARDO ZONTA pits, handing the car over to DARREN TURNER. No. 61 ANDREW RANGER assumes the lead. He is ahead of No. 9 RYAN BRISCOE, No. 60 GRAHAM RAHAL, No. 23 ANDREW WALLACE and No. 76 DARREN TURNER.
LAP 123 (03:56:02) – No. 10 MICHAEL VALIANTE takes over fifth from No. 76 DARREN TURNER. GT LEAD CHANGE as No. 86 JORG BERGMEISTER brings the PORSCHE GT3 onto pit road, giving the lead to No. 07 JAN MAGNUSSEN. LEH KEEN is now in the No. 86.
LAP 124 (03:57:57) – No. 01 JUAN PABLO MONTOYA moves to seventh. Leader No. 61 ANDREW RANGER pits, as does fourth-place No. 23 ANDY WALLACE. No. 9 RYAN BRISCOE picks up the overall lead. COLIN BRAUN is now in the No. 61. GT leader No. 07 JAN MAGNUSSEN pits. GT LEAD CHANGE as No. 81 RICHARD LIETZ is now the leader.
LAP 126 (04:01:50) – No. 01 JUAN PABLO MONTOYA takes fourth from No. 76 DARREN TURNER.
LAP 127 (04:03:35) – No. 09 MARC-ANTOINE CAMIRAND brings the PORSCHE FABCAR into the pits with a lot of steam coming out of the front of the car. The crew is taking the car behind the wall. There are reports he drove off course and something put a hole in the radiator.
LAP 128 (04:05:20) – The top five in Daytona Prototypes are No. 9 RYAN BRISCOE, No. 60 GRAHAM RAHAL, No. 10 MICHAEL VALIANTE, No. 01 JUAN PABLO MONTOYA and No. 76 DARREN TURNER.
LAP 129 (04:07:06) – The gap between No. 9 RYAN BRISCOE and No. 60 GRAHAM RAHAL is only 2.467 seconds.
UPDATES – No. 21 VIC RICE had left front tire go flat and tear up the brake rotor. The car in garage being repaired so Rice can return to the track. No. 08 JIM MEASSICK broke a bolt on rear suspension, and the car in garage installing new rear suspension. The No. 11 SAMAX machine was retired with engine problems.
LAP 130 (04:08:53) – No. 03 ED CARPENTER brings the car back onto pit lane. The team makes a driver change in addition to routine service.
LAP 131 (04:10:38) – No. 60 GRAHAM RAHAL pulls into the pits and drops back to fifth. The top five in GT are No. 81 RICHARD LIETZ, No. 86 LEH KEEN, No. 66 ANDY LALLY, No. 70 RAPHAEL MATOS and No. 07 JAN MAGNUSSEN.
LAP 132 (04:12:22) – OVERALL LEAD CHANGE as No. 9 RYAN BRISCOE pits, giving the lead to No. 10 MICHAEL VALIANTE. KURT BUSCH is now in the No. 9.
LAP 133 (04:14:17) – No. 09 MARC-ANTOINE CAMIRAND brings his car back onto the track. OVERALL LEAD CHANGE as No. 10 MICHAEL VALIANTE pits, giving the lead to No. 01 JUAN PABLO MONTOYA.
UPDATE – No. 6 JOHN PEW entered the race for the first time within the last 10 laps, as did No. 91 RYAN HUNTER-REAY. No. 23 JOEY HAND is back in the PORSCHE CRAWFORD.
LAP 134 (04:16:26) – There is smoke bellowing out from No. 60 GRAHAM RAHAL’s car, apparently from a flat right front tire. He is bringing the car back to pit road where the team changes both front tires and adds fuel.
LAP 135 (04:18:12) – FULL COURSE CAUTION as No. 7 QUENTIN WAHL hits the wall in the west horseshoe. The top five in Daytona Prototypes are No. 76 DARREN TURNER, No. 61 COLIN BRAUN, No. 10 MICHAEL VALIANTE, No. 02 DAN WHELDON and No. 99 JIMMIE JOHNSON.
LAP 136 (04:20:06) – There are still 10 cars on the lead lap. The pits are open for Daytona Prototypes, and No. 76 DARREN TURNER, No. 16 FABIO BABINI, No. 02 DAN WHELDON, No. 91 RYAN HUNTER-REAY and 59 JC FRANCE all pit.
