LAP 137 (04:22:03) – There is damage to No. 02 SALVADOR DURAN’s car after he got off the car in Turn 5. The front nose came off and he takes the car to the pits.
LAP 138 (04:25:45) – OVERALL LEAD CHANGE as No. 61 COLIN BRAUN takes the point. He is ahead of No. 10 MICHAEL VALIANTE, No. 9 KURT BUSCH, No. 01 JUAN PALBLO MONTOYA and No. 76 DARREN TURNER.
LAP 139 (04:29:00) – Several of the GT cars come onto pit lane, including Nos. 72, 64, 87, 40, 22, 30, 85, 83, 07, 06, 90, 57, 69, 17 and 81. Exiting the pits, No. 86 LEH KEEN holds the lead, ahead of No. 70 RAPHAEL MATOS, No. 66 ANDY LALLY, No. 07 JAN MAGNUSSEN and No. 81 ROBERT DOORNBOS.
LAP 140 (04:33:38) – No. 40 ROMEO KAPUDIJA pits out of sequence and is assessed a stop-and-go penalty plus-20 seconds. No. 75 TRACY KROHN pits for service.
LAP 141 (04:37:03) – GREEN FLAG flies to return to action. He establishes a six-second advantage after only one lap. The top five in Daytona Prototypes are No. 61 COLIN BRAUN, No. 10 MICHAEL VALIANTE, No. 9 KURT BUSCH, No. 01 JUAN PABLO MONTOYA and No. 23 JOEY HAND.
LAP 142 (04:38:48) – No. 40 ROMEO KAPUDIJA serves his drive-through penalty. No. 01 JUAN PABLO MONTOYA takes third from No. 9 KURT BUSCH.
UPDATE – No. 58 BUDDY RICE is in the PORSCHE, while No. 3 ALEX BARRON is in the LEXUS. The highest running GT car overall is running 17th, with No. 86 LEH KEEN aboard.
LAP 143 (04:40:32) – Four different engine manufacturers are among the top five in Daytona Prototype competition, while Porsche has three cars in the GT top five.
LAP 144 (04:42:16) – No. 52 FRED MACHADO blew through the chicane and must serve a drive-through penalty.
LAP 146 (04:45:46) – No. 08 JIM MEASSICK takes his car back behind the wall.
QUOTE FROM SCOTT PRUETT ON HIS DRIVE – “I’ve been having a little problem locking up the front so I had to do a couple of pit stops because we’re being overly cautious. The TELMEX car is running well otherwise. I just need to find that line between carrying good speed and locking it up.”
LAP 147 (04:47:31) – No. 61 COLIN BRAUN leads the race by 5.139 seconds. No. 9 KURT BUSCH leads a five-car battle for fourth, separated by two-and-a-half seconds.
UPDATE – No. 70 RAPHAEL MATOS is back into the GT lead.
LAP 148 (04:49:17) – No. 23 JOEY HAND blasts past No. 9 KURT BUSCH entering the chicane to take fourth. No. 91 RYAN HUNTER-REAY also takes fifth.
LAP 149 (04:51:03) – The lead is now 5.041 seconds for No. 61 COLIN BRAUN.

LAP 150 (04:52:47) – No. 61 COLIN BRAUN’s lead is now 4.616 seconds.
UPDATE - No. 51 JOHN CLOUD broke a transaxle and the car is in the garage for repairs. No. 99 JIMMY VASSER got in during that last pit stop. He is complaining about being chopped off.
LAP 152 (04:56:22) – No. 31 SETH INGRAM is slow in Turn 3.
